For Ford, it's about so much more than simply producing stylish, reliable, and high-performing cars. Rather, the brand is also committed to going above and beyond in other realms of its business, as it seeks to solve real problems that real people face on a day to day basis.

One of the American automaker's latest projects takes the idea of allowing people to "Go Further" to a whole new level. Ford teamed up with BraunAbility, the world leader in mobility vehicles to create a 2016 Ford Explorer-based wheel-chair-accessible SUV. Check it out below!

Says Ford marketing manager, Omar Odeh, "Explorer has always been associated with helping people go places they otherwise could not, and BraunAbility MXV furthers that reputation."

Featuring patented sliding-door tech, as well as removable driver and passenger seats for ease of use and increased space, and of course, the powered, lighted-in floor ramp pictured above, this unique conversion is both incredibly flexible while being just as stylish, powerful, and capable as one would expect from any Ford Explorer.
